Youth Icon Dibas Khaniya, President of Friends initiative, who is popular as a role model of youth have already start a campaign to help the victims of flood. Today he donate Rs. 1 lakh from his personal side to the flood victims of tarai through goFundme.Since there are no access of roads or flights to flood hit zones, he request to focus on collecting money from our own circle and support the local volunteers by sending money via banks/IMEs to buy the most required items. Many people have been already lost their life and the death toll is likely to rise since the flood is getting more vicious.Floods caused by incessant rain have created havoc across the low-lying Terai region in Nepal, inundating thousands of houses and displacing people. The water level in many rivers has crossed the danger mark and changed their course, with a threat to houses and livelihood.The situation remained tense on Sunday along the basins of major rivers like Saptakoshi, Kankai, Babai, Rapti and Mohana. The floods have created havoc in districts like Banke, Bardiya, Dhanusa, Saptari, Siraha, Sunsari and Morang. Saptari has been affected the most since the beginning of the monsoon, leaving hundreds of families displaced.
